After School Care - OSHC
Before we can move forward, we need time to process where we have been and what we have done.
After school care is unique blend of new stimulus, free play, and providing some much needed time and space to process what has gone on before, during the day.
Whether its continuing a game from the morning or looking at a challenge we weren’t finished with, after school care is about providing time and safe space to continue to explore.
Using Ross Parks facilities and continuing care from the day, we provide a safe nurturing environment for children to explore, learn and rest at the end of their day at school.
We follow the National curriculum MyTime Our Place and publish our programs and activities based on children interest weekly using the MyXplor App.
We operate from 2:45 until 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
Closed Public holidays and school holidays.
Enrollment Process
If you are considering using after school care this year at Ross Park please complete the enrolment form below.
Through Centrelink and the Childcare Subsidy (CCS) the government will pay up to 93% of fees with most people paying less than $10 per day.
This is a separate registration with Centrelink and can take 4-6 weeks to be approved. If you attended childcare anywhere you are likely already approved. If you are considering accessing OSHC it is strongly recommended you commence this application if you have not already been approved.
For 2026 this service is exclusively for Ross Park students and strictly limited to only 45 spaces. If you are interested in using the service during the year, we strongly urge you to make a booking as it will fill up.
If you are busy, on the run or running late we can accept casual bookings up until lunch time on the day but only if there is available space, and only after families have completed the registration.
This can be done on the day and takes roughly 15 minutes.
After the online form is completed please contact us by phone to complete the enrolment. We require a few documents-birth certificate and immunisation and there are some Docusign forms we will send additionally.
Once enrolled, bookings and attendances can be managed by either calling us directly or via the MyXplor app on your phone.

We charge
$50 per session for permanent(ongoing) booking.
$60 per day for casual booking
After CCS it is usually $7-$15 dollars per day. (up to 85% subsidy)
For a second child after CCS the cost will usually be as little as $3 per day(typically 93% subsidy)

2:50pm-6:00pm, closed all public holidays.

After completing the enrollment form families need to contact us by phone to connect the CCS (subsidy) with centrelink.

Once you have enrolled you can add bookings, notify us of absences, pay accounts, view learning stories or message us using the MyXplor app or directly.

Following nutrition guidelines, we offer a fruit platter with some dry biscuits, seasonal fruit and cheese.
We are always happy for recommendations or family favorites and welcome fresh ideas.
Our aim is to provide light healthy refreshments

We are open until 6:00pm.
After 6:00 we charge late fees per 5-minute block of $15.
if you know you will be late please let us know so we can plan for this.
Our educators have small children at home and families too. Please be kind and respectful towards this.

We provide a discount for permanent bookings reducing the cost to $50 per day before subsidies.
As permanent spaces fill up many days will not be available. If you need certain days please let us know and can lock them in as ongoing bookings.
